Meet My Why

Never in a million years would I have thought I’d be married with 3 children. This has taught me to slow down and enjoy the Magic in life.

Craig and I have been together since 2011. We visited Disney World and Universal Orlando regularly when we lived in Florida. We moved back to Tennessee to start a family. Our first born is Niko, our daughter is Joey, and our last born is Fitz.

While every day is certainly an adventure, we LOVE when we are adventuring as a family.

I love what I do because I believe all families deserve magical memories.

About Me

I’m Patrick and I made a career out of never growing up while also helping people create their own story at Disney destinations. As a writer and former teacher, I use my skills to plan, organize, and constantly learn about the destinations I’m sending you to enjoy.

While I’m a resident of Germantown, TN, a suburb of Memphis, my family and I love to escape into our own adventures near and far. I love the joy on my son’s face as he’s taking off on his favorite ride. I love my daughter’s giggle as a character interacts with her. I love my youngest’s enthusiasm as he eats everything he can reach.

One of the best parts of combining parenting and this job is watching other families fall in love with their experiences at a Disney destination.

    • I met Craig in 2011 as I earned my Masters and he was preparing for residency.

    • We were married in 2015.

    • I’m the proud father to 3 amazing children—Niko, Joey, and Fitz—who are my heart.

    • I’ve been a lifeguard, swim instructor, a preschool teacher, an elementary & middle school teacher, a stay-at-home dad and now a travel specialist.

    • I am a VOL and worked for a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing & Master of Science in Teacher Education.

    • I attempt to workout every day, and swimming laps is my zen.

    • I love writing and am an aspiring novelist.

    • My favorite ride was Splash Mountain and I cannot wait for the new ride to open…

  • I’ve always had a wild imagination and remain a child at heart which is why it’s fitting Peter Pan is my favorite character. The stories Disney weaves into everything they touch and create speaks to my imagination, pulling me in. I believe there is nothing like walking through the parks and hearing the music from a parade or catching a character at a meet and greet. This love is contagious if you’re open to it. Craig and I are excited to share this love with our children, and it often starts with a family movie night at home.

  • My experience at Universal came later in life and stemmed from my love of Harry Potter & the magic the Wizarding World creates. After that, I was drawn into my childhood love like Jurassic Park, E.T., and even Dr. Seuss. And yes, I do love screaming on a rollercoaster now. But, the best moments for me is to watch my son experience the same joy of everything from Minions to Mario and is my reminder to help other families build these moments.
